Leg Tapering Service available. We can tapper your new or used jeans regardless of what brand it is. Don't take your jeans to the cleaners to get them altered. Not all industrial sewing machines are equal. All of Railcar's machines used to taper your jeans are tuned and calibrated to sew denim jeans. These are the same machines that make all Railcar goods. We use all the correct color, thread and thread sizes to match your jeans. The Leg Tapering Service includes the chain stitch bottom hem to desired length. Service will be done within 2 days of receiving the jean. The price includes return shipment! Please email us to set up your service.

We cannot tapper your jeans if the inseam is sewn with a flat felled seam. If you don't know what a flat felled seam is, it looks like the seams on the seat of your jeans. Its tucked and folded from the outside and inside with a double needle chain. We can only tapper your jeans if it is sewn traditionally with a "overlocked" inseam, as shown in the photo.

Fit Specs
  • When shipping your jeans in for Tapering Service. Please include your name, contact info, and return shipping address. Also measurements of how big you want the bottoms to me and how far up to taper. That's it. We should get them in and out within a day or two of receiving them.
